Ritual Art is a way to acknowledge and stand up for Christian mysticism. It is based on the fragility of our existence and reveals the mystery in this world, yet not of this world: the mystery of presence, which is more internal to us than we to ourselves. It is non-violent yet powerful, it perceives and forms reality as it is, and in the face of guilt, suffering and impermanence it gives sovereignty, compassion and joy.

The art of creating rituals offers a moment for awakening in the mystery of presence and for arriving in the here and now. Whenever this happens, the world in its fragility is renewed and life in its ordinariness is transcended, centered and empowered. All of a sudden we become the humans, we are, all of a sudden unconditional love is present in our imperfection.

Within the frame of Christian mysticism Ritual Art combines elements of Zen Buddhism, shamanism and integrative psychotherapy in an effective way. It takes place in the religious and ideological plurality of metaphorical language, but originates from transverbal silence. Thanks to its simplicity it is comprehensible to all participants and respects their integrity.
